My Creative Journey
I began my creative journey with going to school at Nottingham Trent University (Confetti). Where I recieved a Foundation degree in Visual Effects Production Technology (VFX). Whilst there I worked on a short film and helped in the creation of the visual effects for it.
After leaving Nottingham Trent University, I continued to work as a swimming teacher to save up money to push my creativity further by chasing the BYU Animation programme. Whilst preparing to apply for the program I got a job as junior compositor at BYUtv. However, I was unsucessful in getting admitted to BYU Center for Animation but still loved creating visual effects for BYUtv. This led me to advertising program as I wanted to create visual effects for advertising.
Once admitted into the programme, I was fortunate to been reccommended by one of my friends to work on a competition for Coca-Cola refreshing films. This gave me my first real oppurtunity to work as lighting. Right now, I'm learning how to be cinematographer and still love combining my knowledge of visual effects to create advertisements. I have now been at BYUtv for three years and have worked on both a full feature film and worked on Studio C episodes.
